Andrew Hiller is Director and Principal Consultant at Ah!, the strategic communications consultancy. As Board Member of the European Association of Communication Directors, Andrew led coordination of the Association’s country chapters and was responsible for the EACD’s partnership with the ICCO anti mis/disinformation programme. As Board Director with the UK Veterinary Management Group, he delivered the organisation’s communication, engagement, and public affairs strategy. He is also currently Managing Director of leading UK first-opinion equine veterinary practice, Ballinger Equine.
Andrew’s professional communications and PR experience includes former service as Director of Communications for various UK Government agencies and regional and city government organisations including Aberdeenshire, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and the City of Westminster. A former communications specialist in the fossil fuel and nuclear energy sectors, Andrew later served as communications adviser to the UK Forensic Science Service and the Metropolitan Police. Experienced in strategic communications management for crisis and reputation-critical scenarios, he is member of the EACD, Chartered Institute of Journalists, the PRCA, and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations where he is a former National Council member and Greater London Chairman.
