Andrius Užkalnis Will Argue that Humour Is Not for Computers to Make at PR Impact Awards 2018

Tomorrow, at the PR Impact Awards 2018 conference, Lithuanian publicist Andrius Užkalnis will respond to the organizers’ challenge that asks if robots are going to replace PR professional by arguing that humour is not for computers to make.

The annual event on communications is focusing specifically on innovation and its impact on PR and communications this year. The conference‘s keynotes and panel discussions will cover the ability of robots to maintain reputation, the usability of artificial intelligence for public relations, and the common vision for the regional Baltic image.

„We are also looking at the emotional intelligence and the role of emotions within communication. Humour, as an ability to provoke and turn negative into positive, is a particularly interesting example of emotions in communications. Andrius Užkalnis, who is famous for this wittiness, will help us develop this topic,“ announced the organizers.

Andrius Užkalnis will also moderate a panel discussion titled „Challenge of Glory: the Price of Publicity“. The discussion will be joint by the Lithuanian Minister of Health Aurelijus Veryga and the Lithuanian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 finals Ieva Zasimauskaitė.

After the conference, organized by the Lithuanian Communications Association and the Lithuanian Association of Public Relation Agencies, an award ceremony of the best PR projects of the year is going to take place.
